ALFA ROMEO: ALL-ELECTRIC BY 2027
Posted on July 6, 2023
Every vehicle in the Alfa Romeo lineup will be electric by 2027, the first of Stellantis’ major automotive brands to do so. A favourite of automotive enthusiasts for many years, the Alfa Romeo brand has been more traditional in approach over the past decades, however that is all about to change over the next decade. Starting with the Tonale in 2022/2023, Alfa Romeo will fully embrace the future and make a bold transition towards the future. Learn more about Alfa Romeo’s all-electric plan here, and visit our Maranello Alfa Romeo location in Vaughan today.
The Tonale Concept
The Tonale Concept is the upcoming hybrid-electric plug-in vehicle for Alfa Romeo. A brand new powertrain delivers the same level of Alfa Romeo performance to this incredible and innovative platform. Check out our blog post below outlining all the great features and highlights you can expect from this brand new crossover.
New Vehicle Architecture
How Alfa Romeo will be able to deliver a 100% electric vehicle lineup will be powered by brand-new vehicle platform developments over the next few years. The current rear-wheel-drive Giorgio platform will be replaced with Stellantis’ new STLA large-vehicle architecture, to accommodate electric batteries and powertrains. This new platform will be shared throughout other Stellantis automotive brands, such as Jeep, so you can trust that future Alfa Romeo models will be more reliable and capable in their performance than ever before.
